Who doesn't know about the Nile Valley with the Pyramids and
Valley of the Kings, or the Eastern Egypt with Sinai and the Red
Sea? Less know about the New destination in Egypt, which is: the
Western Desert and it's Oases.
This desert was previously called the "Libyan Desert" and covers
an area of 680'000 square kilometers - or two third of Egypt. As
it's hard to understand this size by numbers alone, let us mention
that this area is equal to a combined sizeof these seven
countries; Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, the Netherlands,
Norway and Switzerland!
In east lies "Ramla El Kebir" (The Great Sand Sea), a huge area of
moving sand dunes where nobody should even think about venturing
without the best possible expertise and team. South of Ramla El
Kebir is Gilf Kebir - a mountain plateau with numerous valley's.
The size of Gilf Kebir is about the size of Switzerland.

Program Itinerary
1st Day Cairo-Siwa
After breakfast, we leave
Cairo behind, we arrive to Alamein 260-km. There We visit the WWII
Museum and the war memorial. (lunch en route) Moving on, we pass by
Marsa Matruh. Upon reaching Siwa 300-km, We tour the old Siwan village
of Shalli. Dinner and overnight in the Hotel.
2nd Day Siwa – Great Sand Sea
After breakfast we visit
Mountain of the Dead, Alexander the Great Temple (Temple of the Oracle)
and take a donkey- drawn cart for a tour around the city before heading
off road 17-km to the Great Sand Sea, where we rest at the hot spring of
Bir Wahid, We bathe, have dinner and relax while looking at the stars.
Overnight camping.
3rd Day Siwa – Bahariya
After breakfast we head off
road on a 450-km journey to Bahariya Oasis. We pass by Bahrein, Nawemisa
and Sitra Oases. Lunch en route, we Pass through magnificent sand dunes
of the Great Sand Sea. Upon reaching Bahariya oasis, we check in our
hotel, after dinner and overnight in our Minamar Hotel.
4th Day Bahariya – White Desert
After breakfast we go 160-km
on/off road to the black desert and The dune area, We start our climb of
a 50meter dune. On route to Farafra we visit the crystal mountain, the
area of the wonders with The desert roses and the arch. Moving on we
head to the White Desert, we start exploring the formations and wind
carved sculptors that resemble both human and animal faces, We explore
the formations that resemble the surface Of a different planet. The
night is spent in the desert, dinner and overnight camping.
5th Day White Desert /Farafra/Dakhla
Reaching Farafra oasis 40-km
on road we visit the city, bathe in the hot spring, Visit the museum of
Badr “the local artist”, then move on To Dakhla oasis 280-km. Upon
reaching Dakhla, we visit the Old Covered City with its oil press,
school, Courthouse and dwelling chambers, Muzzawaka & Deir El Hagar,
have lunch, dinner and overnight in the Hotel.
6th Day Dakhla - Kharga
Leaving Dakhla behind, we head
to Kharga 190-km, we head off road towards the Labakha roman area, and
explore the dwellings area, the Temple and the Spring. Lunch picnic,
upon arrival to Kharga Oasis we check in the Hotel. In Kharga, we visit
El Bagawat Cemetery, visit of temple of Hibis
Dinner and overnight.
7th Day Kharga - Luxor
From Kharga we head to Luxor
